This is a unique fusion of fitness and drumming, perfect for those who want to keep fit and get a whole body workout (adapted to your abilities). This class is designed to give participants a fun way to work out, engaging in general cardio & body strengthening while tapping into the benefits of music: rhythm. Drumming is an easily accessible activity which burns calories and improves mood, both of which may reduce the risk of disease. Drumming is also a great way to self-express and make music (without any prior skills), while increasing blood flow throughout the brain, which promotes improved cognitive performance and promotes relaxation. The last 10 minutes of this program focuses on cool down and relaxation, leaving you all refreshed and energized for the day.
